Extra info: I wrote self-study quiz questions on the entire course content, which are still used today (as of October 2025). Additionally, I transferred two lectures on graphs from PowerPoint to LaTeX Beamer, which are also still in use.

Extra info: I wrote an exercise class from scratch on the Python interface for sqlite3, which is still used today (as of March 2024). An open-access version of this exercise class is available.

Chief Technology Officer — LUdev
September 2025 – June 2026LUdev is an organization part of LIACS that is responsible for the acquisition of software development projects for third-year BSc students Computer Science (incl. Bioinformatica, and Computer Science & Business), and Data Science & Artificial Intelligence. Within its student board, I am primarily responsible for all technical aspects, such as our own infrastructure and project feasibility.

November 2021 – September 2023Responsible for guaranteeing the quality of education, representing the interests of students and advising on and agreeing with plans from the program board, the faculty and the Executive Board (CvB).

January 2023 – July 2023My primary responsibilities included sharing my experiences as a student and providing input on proposals related to scheduling and associated logistics (e.g., opening hours of campus facilities, such as restaurants).

January 2022 – August 2023Responsible for providing feedback and ideas to harmonize educational processes between the faculties of Leiden University, with the aim of giving students greater control over their studies. Main focus: testing and improving the digital student portal.
